Minimum Wage Adjustments are calculated by determining an employee's total earnings for a job and the total hours worked for the job, which gives us their effective hourly rate for the job. If the effective hourly rate is below the effective minimum wage (either due to their wage program, their personal configuration, or the job configuration), a minimum wage adjustment can be added.
The minimum wage adjustment will be an hourly wage with a quantity of hours equal to the employee's total hours worked. The hourly rate will be equivalent to the difference between the employee's effective hourly rate and the minimum hourly rate determined per above.
MWAs can be added during job finalization. Payroll Entities can also be configured to automatically add MWAs to jobs. Automatically added MWAs will be visible on the Job Finalization screen (and can also be removed during finalization if not desired).
** Note ** Famous will automatically recalculate MWAs after importing, which may result in differing totals. In this case, Famous would have the correct MWA, and FieldClock's can be disregarded.
